Liverpool's approach for Martin Odegaard has been rejected
by Real Madrid, according to Marca.
The report claims that Jurgen Klopp is keen on a move for
the 17-year-old, but Madrid insist that the midfielder
remains at the club in order to develop.
It’s claimed that Liverpool had hoped to persuade Odegaard
that his progression would be boosted by a move to the
Premier League, but Madrid’s president Florentino Perez is
adamant that the player stays at Madrid until he is ready for
first-team football.
Odegaard made his debut for Madrid in last season’s 7-3
win at home to Getafe on the final day of the La Liga
campaign, but he has not featured for the first team this
term.
