Copa Del Rey: Valencia to face Barca; Sevilla to clash with Celta Vigo

The holders Barcelona will meet Valencia in the
semi-finals of the Copa del Rey, with Sevilla taking
on Celta Vigo in the other last-four tie.

The first legs will be played on 3 and 4 February at
the Camp Nou and Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán,
respectively, with the return meetings a week later.

Barça eased into the last four earlier this week with
a 3-1 victory over Athletic Bilbao, which sealed a
5-2 aggregate win.

Celta stunned Atlético Madrid in Wednesday’s
other quarter-final with a 3-2 victory at the Vicente
Calderón, following a goalless first leg.

Valencia – yet to win in seven Primera División
matches under the coach Gary Neville – reached the
semi-finals on Thursday thanks to a 1-0 win, 2-1 on
aggregate, over Las Palmas.

Sevilla cruised through thanks to a 3-0 win against
second-tier Mirandés, which secured Unai Emery’s
side a 5-0 aggregate rout.
