Enyimba have returned to the top of the NPFL table on Sunday in Aba despite being held to a 1-1 draw by struggling Enugu Rangers in a Week 20 Nigeria topflight encounter.
The Peoples' Elephant overtook Sunshine Stars at the top of the table after the Akure Gunners bowed 1-0 to FC Taraba in Jalingo.
The Aba Millionaires triumphed 2-1 in the first leg in Enugu and were hoping to complete a double against the Flying Antelopes.
Rangers stunned the Aba fans with the opening goal of the match through Onoriode Odah before the hosts battled back through Musa Najere few minutes to the end of the first half. There was no goal in the second half.
The Aba side are on top of the table with 37 points from 20 matches while Rangers also moved up slightly to 28 points from same number of matches.
