Burnley wins Championship to secure promotion to Premiership

Sam Vokes scored the goal that secured Burnley's promotion against QPR and set them on their way to the title against Charlton.

Burnley clinched the Championship title with victory over an already relegated Charlton Athletic side whose boss Jose Riga resigned after the game.

The Clarets ensured aninstant Premier League returnby beating QPR 1-0 on Monday and match-winner Sam Vokes tapped in the opener after a fine move.
