There quality players in NPFL capable of making the Super Eagles list against Egypt for the Afcon 2017 qualifiers and the prospect of playing in Europe is good enough motivation to drive them if called upon by the team handlers, Striker Chisom Chikatara has told footballlive.ng.
Chikatara, 21, was Nigeria’s revelation at the African Nations Championship in Rwanda and he believes NPFL based players have what it takes to excel playing side by side their foreign based teammates.
Nigeria host Egypt in the first leg of the double header, March 25th and it will be counted; not just as a privilege to don the national colors, but also as an opportunity.
The Abia Warriors star man also tipped the Eagles to soar over and above the 7-time African Champions over two legs. Interim Boss, Samson Siasia is expected to present the list of invited players for the encounter on Thursday.
