Butland out of Netherlands clash with fractured ankle

Englandhave confirmedJack Butlandsuffered a fractured ankle during Saturday's win over Germany and will miss Tuesday's clash with Netherlands.

The Stoke City goalkeeper suffered the injury shortly before half-time in Berlin and was stretchered from the field to be replaced by Fraser Forster.

No further replacements will be called-up by Roy Hodgson withBurnley's Tom Heaton already added out of the squad following an injury for Joe Hart.

The player lamented his injury via Twitter, but vowed to bounce back as soon as possible.

Early reports suggest the former Birmingham City man will be out for three months, an absence that would rule him out of the European Championships in France this summer.
