360 Official: Tamen Ngathie joins Ifeanyi Ubah FC


Tamen Ngathie Medrano has completed his move to Nigeria Professional Football League outfit FC Ifeanyi Ubah from Sunshine Stars.

The Cameroonian, who helped the Owena Waves reach the semi-final of the 2012 Caf Champions League, will be hoping to help Mitko Dobrev’s men win the Nigeria topflight title for the first time.

“I feel great playing for a big club like FC Ifeanyi Ubah because with them I will take my football to another level,” Medrano toldGoal.

“Honestly, I don’t feel like leaving Sunshine Stars where I spent five seasons but I just have to move on in life. I want to thank the management and fans of the club for giving me a chance to prove my worth.

"Though, I had several offers from clubs but I decided to stick my neck out for Ifeanyi Ubah FC because owing to their dreams and aspiration that suits mine.

“My dream is to lift the Nigeria Premier League title and I know I can achieve this with the Anambra Warriors who believe in my potentials,” he concluded.

Medrano will wear jersey no. 8 in his new team and is expected to make his debut against Giwa FC in Jos on Sunday.

He joined Sunshine Stars in March 2010 from Cameroonian outfit Tiko United and helped the team to a second place finish in the 2012/2013 NPFL topflight under coach Gbenga Ogunbote.
