Transfer News: Porto set to off- load Imbula

Porto are willing to sell unsettled midfielder Giannelli Imbula
in the January transfer window, according to the player's
agent.

Imbula joined the Primeira Liga side from Marseille in July
for a fee of €20 million on a five-year deal, having rejected
the likes of Inter, AC Milan, Valencia and West Ham.

However, he has struggled to settle in Portugal, and Milan
have yet again been linked with him, while Premier League
outfit Stoke City area lso said to be interested in the 23-year-
old.

And Imbula's representative, Willy Ndangi, fuelled talk of an
imminent move.

"We know that Porto want to sell Giannelli," he told
Calciomercato.it .

"At the moment we haven't had any contact with other
clubs, but we could talk to some sides starting from
Monday."

Imbula has played nine league games for Porto since his
move, but the midfielder is yet to find the net.
