Southampton reject Manchester United £30M bid for Mane

Manchester United have failed in their bid to sign Sadio
Mane in the January transfer window, with Southampton
unwilling to let the forward leave during the current
campaign.

According to the Daily Mirror, United tabled an offer in the
region of £30 million for the 23-year-old but Ronald
Koeman's side have made it clear that the player is not for
sale this season, alerting Mane to the fact that he will not be
allowed to leave until the summer.

Mane has repeatedly rejected offers of an extended contract
in order to pressure the Saints into letting him leave, being
left out of the squad to face Norwich City, but United are
now likely to be joined by Chelsea and Bayern Munich in
attempting to secure the Senegalese forward's signature in
the summer.
