Real Madrid have confirmed that a press conference with

Florentino Perez has been scheduled for 18:30 GMT on
Monday evening amid rumours claiming that Rafa Benitez
has been sacked.

Speculation surrounding Benitez's future at Madrid
escalated following Sunday's 2-2 draw at Valencia, and it is
now being reported that the club are negotiating a
settlement with the Spaniard's agent.

It is also being reported in Spain that Zinedine Zidane will
replace Benitez.
