Nigeria's Peter Utaka has joined Japanese top side
Sanfrecce Hiroshima on loan from Shimizu S-Pulse .
The 31-year-old Utaka, a former Nigeria international who
scored nine goals in 28 games last season, will play for
Hiroshima through January 2017.
The Nigerian won't be eligible to play for his parent club
when both sides meet in the J-League.
"I'm thankful to God for this opportunity. It's a new chapter
for me Sanfrecce," Utaka wrote via his instagram wall.
Having emerged top-scorer in the Belgian Second Division
with 22 goals in 34 games in the 2007–08 season and in
the 2009–10 in the Danish Superliga with 18 goals in 33
games, the former Dalian Aerbin star hopes to score more
goals for his team.
