Oscar Denies Rift with Costa

Oscar has denied being involved in a training-ground fight with Chelsea team-mate Diego Costa, insisting that the striker is one of his best friends.

Reports on Thursday had claimed the duo had to be separated by other players at Cobham when Costa reacted angrily to a poor tackle by Oscar.

The Brazil international took to Twitter later on, however, to accuse those reporting the bust-up of "lying".
"Those who are saying that Diego Costa and I had a fight in training today are lying, he is one of my best friends and we would never fight," Oscar tweeted.

Oscar and Costa were both on the scoresheet in a much-improved Chelsea performance on Saturday as Guus Hiddink's side earned a 3-0 victory over Crystal Palace.
