GIWA FC 1-1 WARRI WOLVES
The Jos Elephant were pegged at home by rampaging Seasiders who ensured they got a share of the spoils at the Rwang Pam Stadium, Jos on Sunday.
Joseph Osadaiye sent shivers down the spine of the home team when he scored the first goal in the first half but Ocheme Edoh got the equalizer in the 65th minute to bring smiles back to the faces of anxious Giwa FC supporters.
By virtue of the result Warri Wolves are third on the log with 37 points from 22 matches while Giwa FC have 35 points from 22 games.
DOLPHINS 1-1 ABIA WARRIORS
The Port Harcourt side failed to get their fifth win of the campaign after they were held to a draw by the Umuahia based side at the Liberation Stadium.
Isiaka Olawale put the home team ahead in the 30th minute after good work from Ifeanyi Egwin but the visitors found their way back into the game after Bolaji Sarkin, a former player of the side netted an equaliser in the 39th minute of the encounter.
Abia Warriors' leading scorer, Chisom Chikatara lifted the ball over two Dolphins defenders and Sarkin sped past them, controlled coolly, before tucking in behind onrushing goalkeeper, Godwin Ayalogu.
Dolphins have 21 points to move to 17th on goals difference from 22 matches while Abia Warriors are seventh albeit for 24 hours with 34 points from 22 games.
EL KANEMI WARRIORS 2-0 KWARA UNITED
The Borno Army returned to winning ways after their drubbing in Lafia against Nasarawa United in the last game with a 2-0 win over the Harmony Warriors at the Karkanda Stadium in Katsina.
Kabiru Abdullahi was responsible for one of El Kanemi’s goals as the Maiduguri side raced to 11th on the log with 30 points 22 matches while Kwara United are 14th on the log with 26 points from as many matches.
WIKKI TOURISTS 0-0 NASARAWA UNITED
The Bauchi side are fast losing their rhythm after another disappointing barren draw at home to the Solid Miners.
Wikki put every foot wrong in the goalless draw and they have five games without a win. Their last victory was a Week 17 tie against El Kanemi Warriors which they won 2-1.
Wikki are fourth on the log with 35 points from 22 games while Nasarawa United are 10th with 30 points from same number of games.
BAYELSA UNITED 1-1 KANO PILLARS
Mohammed Babaganaru gained his first away point as the handler of Sai Masu Gida after newly signed Bala Mohammed leveled the tie for the Kano side at the Oghara Township Stadium on Sunday.
The Restoration Boys are still 19th on the log with 20 points from 22 games and they have a battle on their hand to escape the chop at the end of the season while Pillars are sixth on the log with 34 points from 22 games.
ENYIMBA 2-1 LOBI STARS
Enyimba beat the Pride of Benue 2-1 to stay atop the NPFL log on Sunday.
Goals from Ifeanyi George and Ifeanyi Anaemena in the first half gave the hosts a home win with Tony Okpotu getting a consolation for the away team.
Lobi are 16th on the log with 24 points from 22 matches.
