But Bendtner, fresh from joking that he is to run as Prime Minister of Denmark, has recently turned his hand to alligator rearing.
Just two days after Robin van Persie caught his own shark, Bendtner attempted to go one better than the Dutchman by nabbing his own alligator on Saturday.
The Dane has been holidaying with friends in recent days, ahead of returning to pre-season training with Wolfsburg before the 2015-16 season.
