Sweden booked their place in the final of the European Under-21 Championship with a 4-1 victory overDenmark.John Guidetti opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 23rd minute after Isaac Kiese Thelin was brought down by Alexander Scholz in the box, before Simon Tibbling doubled the Swedes' lead three minutes later.
Uffe Bech pulled one back midway through the second half, the Nordsjaelland forward capitalising on some poor defending to give Denmark hope of a comeback.
Jess Thorup's men then had opportunities to grab an equaliser, but substitute Robin Quaison restored Sweden's two-goal advantage with a composed finish in the 83rd minute.
And captain Oscar Hiljemark got his name on the scoresheet as Hakan Ericson's side broke forward to add a fourth in the fifth minute of stoppage time.
Sweden, who only secured their place in Saturday's semi-final with a dramatic last-gasp equaliser against Portugal in their final group game, will now face Rui Jorge's side again in Prague on Tuesday.
Ericson made two changes from the team that drew 1-1 with Portugal, Tibbling and Filip Helander replacing Branimir Hrgota and Joseph Baffo in Sweden's starting line-up.
Denmark also made two changes from the XI that beat Serbia 2-0 in their final group match, Bech and Jonas Knudsen starting in place of Viktor Fischer and Riza Durmisi.
It was the Danes who started the game the stronger of the two sides, Yussuf Poulsen and Rasmus Falk going close before Poulsen had a goal chalked off in the 11th minute after the decisive touch was adjuged to have come off his hand.
Sweden did well to keep Denmark at bay, though, and it was they who took the lead after 23 minutes when Scholz clumsily bundled into the back of Kiese Thelin. The referee immediately pointed to the spot, with Guidetti making no mistake from 12 yards.
Things soon got worse for Denmark as Guidetti turned provider, his square ball finding Tibbling, who beat Jakob Busk with a low strike after a fatal slip from Nicolaj Thomsen.
Sweden looked comfortable in the second period untilBech halved the deficit with a neat close-range lob after Ericson's charges failed to clear their lines.
Jannik Vestergaard and Pione Sisto threatened an equaliser, before Quaison reacted to a loose ball and finished cooly through the legs of Busk to give Sweden a two-goal cushion once more.
Hiljemark then wrapped up the win with almost the last kick of the game, finishing off a swift break by converting Sam Larsson's square pass to secure a famous victory.
