Is anyone surprised that the Real Madrid fans heckled and insulted Gareth Bale as the “Welsh Express” left the Bernabeu on Wednesday night?!
Real Madrid were dumped out the Champions League by Juventus, with The Old Lady bagging a 1-1 draw on the night and 3-2 victory on aggregate.
During and after the game, all the jokes on social media suggested that Bale would need an armoured car to get out of the ground, with irate Real Madrid fans looking to vent their anger.
As it turns out, Bale was simply verbally abused by Real Madrid supporters who called him a “motherf***er” (“Cabron”) and “son of a b***” (“hijo de puta”).
You can expect the rumours of a move to Manchester United to move up a notch in the coming days…
