Coach Kayode Olujohungbe’s ladies continued their winning streak in the Nigeria Women topflight by taming their visitors from Lagos in Akure።
Patience Agbokadi put the Queens ahead in the 24th minutes via a penalty kick with Nigeria U17 forward Yakubu Aminat completing the rout with her second half double.
Coach Kayode Olujohungbe praised her side for a job well done while assuring that his side will keep on improving.
“The girls have done well beating the Lagos club and they deserve some commendation,” Olujohungbe told media after the game.
“Beating [COD] was not an easy task because they have been together longer and they are mobile. They deserve some praises too.
“I must confess that we are not there yet as we seek improvement in our upcoming games,” he concluded.
With this victory, Sunshine Quuens boast of six points from two games. They had earlier defeated Capital City Doves 2-1 in Abuja.
