Liverpool out going Captain Steven Gerrard played his last game in Anfield for liverpool before departing to LA GALAXY in MLS...Although Gerrard side were beaten by Alan Pardew's side (Crystal Palace) 1 vs 3.

 The home loss to Palace didn't stop the celebration in Anfield as thousands of fans turned up to wish their captain fare well.

Steven George Gerrard, (born 30 May 1980) is an English footballer who plays for and captains Premier League clubLiverpool. He has played much of his career as a central midfielder, but he has also been used as a second striker, holding midfielder, attacking midfielder, right backand right winger.

Gerrard has spent his entire career atAnfield, making his debut in 1998, cementing his place in the first team in 2000, and succeeding Sami Hyypiä asteam captain in 2003.

His honours include two FA Cups, three League Cups, oneUEFA Champions League, one UEFA Cup, and two UEFA Super Cups. He has signed a contract to join MLS club LA Galaxy in July 2015, following the conclusion of the 2014–15 season with Liverpool.
