SerieA: Sassuolo 3-2 AC Milan: Brilliant Berardi hits hat-trick against nine-man Rossoneri

Just over 16 months after netting four times against the San Siro side, the 20-year-old struck a sensational treble to heap more misery on Pippo Inzaghi's struggling side.

Domenico Berardi Sassuolo TorinoDomenico Berardi once again ran riot against AC Milan, netting a brilliant hat-trick as Sassuolo defeated the nine-man Rossoneri 3-2 in Reggio Emilia on Sunday.

The 20-year-old helped his side into a two-goal lead inside the opening 31 minutes, though his first strike should not not have counted as the ball never crossed the line.

Giacomo Bonaventura pulled one back for Milan before Alex levelled matters shortly after half-time.

However, the game turned again when Bonaventura picked up a second yellow card for senselessly handling the ball in midfield and Sassuolo took advantage, with Berardi bagging the winner with just 13 minutes remaining.

Milan's misery was then compounded by the dismissal of Suso for a straight red in the dying seconds of another trying afternoon for coach Pippo Inzaghi.
