Caf names Nigerien referees for Super Eagles


Officials from the francophone West African nation have been picked for Nigeria versus Chad Africa Cup of Nations qualifier billed for Kaduna on June 13

Referee sprayReferees from Niger Republic have been picked by the Confederation of African Football to take charge of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier between Nigeria and Chad billed for next month at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna.

26-year-old Moussa Gnali is a Fifa referee will be at the centre while he will be assisted by compatriots Sadissou Idi and Abdoul Aziz Saley.

Gomno Daouda  who is 37 years old and became an international referee in 2013 serves as the fourth official  while Andy Quamie from Liberia will serve as match commissioner.

Nigeria and Chad have never met on the international level and will go head to head for the first time when the race for the 31st edition of the African football showpiece kicks off.
