Wenger must change tactics to beat Chelsea – Cascarino

Arsene Wenger is yet to beat Jose Mourinho in 12 meetings and going into Sunday’s Barclays Premier League showdown with Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium in which a win for the Blues leaves them with just three points from lifting the league title.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has been advised by a panel of Sky Sports analysts made up of Ray Parlour and Tony Cascarino to alter his tactics in and do something ‘very different’ in order to beat the seemingly unstoppable boys from Stamford Bridge.

“Arsene Wenger won’t be worried about that his team will be going into the game playing well. Jose knows exactly how Arsenal play, they don’t really change the way they play,” Parlour said.

“Too many players get forward and they leave big gaps and I think Jose knows how to exploit that.”
Cascarino added: “I think he does on the field and off the field. Jose has frustrated Wenger. It’s quite clear he’s found it hard to deal with. You know the way Arsene Wenger’s team are going to play.
“Chelsea are well capable of a draw and might nick it.

“Wenger has to do something very different or dramatic to surprise his opposite manager. It would have to be something that he might not have though about before and I don’t think he’ll do that.”
