Jose Mourinho said at Friday’s press conference that Diego Costa who has been out for some days with injury could make a surprise return at the Emirates Stadium against Arsenal in Sunday’s Barclays Premier League showdown.
Mourinho however stated he may have to make a decision on the Brazil-born Spanish forward tomorrow depending on his level of fitness.
He was also cautiously optimistic saying Costa will be available for his side’s Premier League clash on Wednesday, even if he is not fit for Sunday’s game.
The 52-year-old Portuguese tactician also revealed veteran Ivorian striker Didier Drogba is fit but Loic Remy remains a doubt, but every other player in his side is fit for the away league game with the Gunners.
