SerieA: Juventus 3-2 Fiorentina: Terrific Tevez puts Bianconeri on the verge of Serie A title

The Argentine attacker put the Old Lady ahead after Fernando Llorente had cancelled out Gonzalo Rodriguez's opener and then struck again after the latter missed a penalty.

Juventus edged ever closer to the Serie A title after coming from behind to defeat Fiorentina 3-2 in Turin on Wednesday.
Gonzalo Rodriguez opened the scoring with a penalty in the 33rd minute but the Bianconeri quickly levelled through Fernando Llorente before Tevez put the hosts ahead right on the strike of half-time.
Fiorentina had a gilt-edged opportunity to restore parity midway through the second half but Rodriguez fired his second spot-kick of the game wide and the Viola were promptly punished, with Tevez making it 3-1 with a fine finish.

Josip Ilicic set up a frantic finale with a brilliant free kick but Juve held on to move to within a point of a fourth successive Scudetto.
