EPL: Leicester City 1-3 Chelsea: Title in sight for Blues thanks to second-half fightback


Marc Albrighton has given the Foxes, who were on a four-game winning streak, the lead, but goals from Didier Drogba, John Terry and Ramires mean just one more win is needed.

Nemanja Matic gave away possession cheaply to allow Jamie Vardy to cut the ball back, past the off-balance Cesar Azpilicueta, for Marc Albrighton to give the hosts the lead in first-half injury time.

Didier Drogba soon equalised, three minutes into the second period, after good work from Branislav Ivanovic, but missed a host of good chances to take the lead before John Terry and Ramires settled matters late on.

Chelsea host Crystal Palace on Sunday knowing a win will secure them a first league title since 2010.
