Shelvey signs new four-year deal with Swansea City

Jonjo Shelvey has signed a new four-year contract with Swansea City.

The 23-year-old had two years remaining on his previous deal but will now remain with the club until the summer of 2019.

Shelvey scored three goals in 35 appearances last season as Swansea finished eighth in the Premier League under Garry Monk.

The midfielder has been with Swansea since July 2013 after joining in a £5 million deal from Liverpool.
