3SC fire Coach Franklin Howard

The Oluyole Warriors have added to the numbers of coaches that have lost their jobs in the current season after they parted company with their head coach on Thursday

Shooting Stars (3SC)
Coach Franklin Howard has become the third gaffer to be sacked after 3SC announced on Thursday that the veteran coach has been relieved of his duty as the handler of the Oluyole Warriors.

Howard followed the footpaths of Solomon Ogbeide and Kelechi Emeteole who were fired by Bayelsa United and Enugu Rangers respectively after the clubs' slow start to the 2014/2015  league season.

Shooting Stars are last on the log with eight points from nine matches and the management of the Ibadan side have not failed to wield the big stick barely 24 hours after the Flying Antelopes announced the stepping aside of Emeteole as the head coach of Enugu Rangers.

A top source within the camp of Shooting Stars told Goal that the sack of coach Howard has always been on the card since the beginning of the season and that it was expedite after 3SC’s failure to match their shrewd transfer of players at the start of the current campaign with good results.

No name has been mentioned as the likely successor to Howard who led 3SC back to the Premier League barely a season in the lower league at the end of last season. It was the second time Howard would be hired and fired by the Oluyole Warriors.
