Out-of-form striker Olivier Giroud has delivered the goods for Arsenal at the best possible time, according to Twitter.
The Gunners were a goal down at Manchester City thanks to a Sergio Aguero strike on eight minutes when the Frenchman headed home two minutes later.
Oh Giroud I get your plan all along. Play like crap from January so Man City won't bother to mark you as you aren't a goal threat. Brilliant-- Papa Bule (@bule_jr) May 8, 2016

But the goals at either end were a tale of the two strikers' seasons.
Giroud hadn't scored in the Premier League since January - a whopping 16 games - before beating Joe Hart.
Aguero's goal meanwhile was his sixth in six Premier League games, his longest ever run in the competition.
He's also still in with a chance of winning the golden boot, although Leicester's Jamie Vardy and Tottenham's Harry Kane are ahead of him.
29 in total including 24@premierleague goals means it's still on for him, too!#mcfchttps://t.co/hFUVeRwduM-- Manchester City FC (@MCFC) May 8, 2016
