Bad results against Leicester City and Tottenham in recent weeks have done nothing to dampen Aleksandr Kolarov's spirits, as the Manchester City left-back declared that he is the obvious choice for future president of Serbia.
In a video released on Manchester City's youtube channel in which he answered questions from fans on social media, the defender also revealed his disdain for cats, calling them "little devils", while lauding compatriot Novak Djokovic as a "great guy".
But it was the possiblity of taking up the highest office in the Serbian land that really grabbed Kolarov's enthusuiasm, and the left-back thinks he is an obvious choice.
Asked whether he has plans to become the president, the 30-year-old said: “At the moment, no. But, in the future, I think they have to choose me."
Kolarov also revealed that he would defeat fellow Man City defender Pablo Zabaleta in a fight, stating that he has experience of combat from his home country.
There was also a mention for Crewe Alexandra, who Kolarov declared as the "biggest team in League One", with a prompting from one of the Man City members of staff.
