the Southampton goal stymied Arsenal as they could only
draw 0-0 and slip to fourth in the Premier League.

The striker's first effort was a stunning dipping volley on 60
minutes and his second, 10 minutes later, sealed a win that
continues the Foxes' shock bid for the Premier League title.
Leicester are three points clear of second placed
Manchester City - who beat Sunderland 1-0 on Tuesday
night - and face Manuel Pellegrini's side at the Etihad this
weekend.
Liverpool, meanwhile, have now only won one of their last
five games in the league - conceding 13 in the process -
after another disappointing performance.
Else where at Old Trafford, The Red Devils, who were beaten by Southampton in their last Premier League game, proved too strong for Mark Hughes's side as they cruised to
victory at Old Trafford.
Manchester United ended their long wait for a first-half goal
at home as they eased the pressure on Louis van Gaal with
a comfortable 3-0 win over Stoke City on Tuesday.
United, who had not netted in the opening 45 minutes at Old
Trafford since a 2-1 Champions League victory over
Wolfsburg on September 30, got back to winning ways in
the league in fine style.
At Carrow Road, Mauricio Pochettino's young side moved up to third in the Premier League table thanks to a routine
victory at Carrow Road, with Dele Alli and Harry
Kane both netting
Tottenham moved above Arsenal into third place in the
Premier League as a brace from Harry Kane and one from
Dele Alli clinched a 3-0 victory away at struggling Norwich
City.
A day after the announcement that Pep Guardiola
will replace Manuel Pellegrini in the summer, the
Argentina international sealed with win with an early
strike
Sergio Aguero scored the only goal of the game
as Manchester City beat Sunderland 1-0 at the Stadium of
Light.
And at the Hawthorns, The visitors looked set to pick up their third consecutive win for the first time since May but
were denied late on as the Baggies snatched a
point.
Salomon Rondon scored a 92nd minute equaliser to salvage
a point for West Brom as they drew 1-1 with Swansea at the
Hawthorns.
Finally, Remi Garde's strugglers saw Jordan Ayew sent off
for an elbow after 17 minutes as they slumped to
defeat to the Hammers.
West Ham eased past Aston Villa at Upton Park thanks to
second half goals from Michail Antonio and Cheikhou
Kouyaté with the visitors playing the majority of the game
with 10 men.
