Inaki Williams has renewed his contract with Athletic Bilbao
until 2021, with the Basque club increasing the winger's buy- out clause to €50 million.
Goal reported on Saturday that Williams was close to
agreeing a new deal at San Mames, where he has attracted
attention from the likes of Tottenham since breaking into the
first team last season.
The 21-year-old earned promotion from the club's 'B' team
after scoring 13 goals in 18 appearances at the beginning of
2014-15 and started the Copa del Rey final defeat to
Barcelona.
The Bilbao-born youngster has continued to impress in his
first full campaign under Ernesto Valverde, scoring six goals
in 15 appearances so far.
