Milan striker Luiz Adriano has arrived in China to complete
his move to Jiangsu Suning.
The 28-year-old Brazil international only arrived in Serie A
this past summer following eight trophy-laden seasons with Shakhtar Donetsk in Ukraine.
However, he has made just nine league starts in his six
months for the club, hitting just three goals.
An €8 million arrival, Milan appear to have made a healthy
profit on the deal with the 28-year-old set to complete a
transfer worth a reported €14m.
He will now join a growing number of Brazilians making their fortunes in the Chinese Super League, joining
fellow internationals Renato Augusto, Jadson, Robinho,
Ricardo Goulart and Diego Tardelli in Asia.
The 28-year-old made his Brazil debut last year and has
gone on to make four caps for the Selecao but despite the
current lack of top-quality centre-forwards available to
coach Dunga, is not thought to feature in the coach’s plans
for the future.
