Dinamo Zagreb youngster Adrian Semper rejects move to Chelsea

Chelsea's first attempt to sign Dinamo Zagreb
prodigy Adrian Semper has been rebuffed.

The Blues's technical director Michael Emenalo travelled to
Croatia to meet with Dinamo manager Zoran Mamic but has
had an initial €2.5 million (£1.9m) bid for the goalkeeper
rejected.

Semper has starred in the Uefa Youth League against
Arsenal and Bayern Munich this season and 360 Metro sports  understands the offer could have been worth up to €4m (£3.1m) with bonuses.

The 18-year-old was Croatia's goalkeeper at the Under-17
World Cup in the summer and has been on Chelsea's radar
for some time, with goalkeeping coach Christophe Lollichon
a particular fan.
