CR7 expected to leave Madrid at end of season

Cristiano Ronaldo is still expected to leave Real Madrid in
the summer despite the appointment of club legend Zinedine Zidane as head coach, the Telegraph reports.

The publication claims Paris Saint-Germain are the
favourites to land the Portuguese star, though Manchester
United are touted as the most likely Premier League
destination should he prefer a return to England.

Gareth Bale has been linked with a move back to the English
top flight himself, but it has been suggested the Welshman
is still very much a key part of Florentino Perez's plans, with
the club president more open to Ronaldo's exit if he had to
choose between the two.

The Telegraph claims to have spoken to a source close to
Madrid, who stated: “Out of Bale and Ronaldo, Ronaldo is
the player expected to leave the club. Bale is seen as the
future, whereas Ronaldo's best years may now be behind
him.

“PSG are desperate to sign him and would be favourites to
sign him, but United will no doubt try.”
