Abia Warriors named Sam Obuh as Welfare co-ordinator


Nigeria Professional Football League side Abia Warriors
have secured the service of the former Bussdor United team
manager Sam Obuh as the assistant team co-coordinator
and welfare officer of the team.

The sports administrator who founded the Mben United
football academy ended his three years tenure with the
National League division One side to resume work
immediately with Kennedy Boboye’s team.

Sam Obuh who is the elder brother of Nigeria’s former
National U17 and U20 coach John Obuh played for Sharks
FC, Nigerian Ports Authority, Spartans of Owerri and US
based side, Atlanta Chiefs as an attacker.

He expressed his delight and promised to work together with
the management to achieve their dream of winning their first
ever NPFL trophy.

“I decided to join the Warriors to enable me contribute my
quota towards the club’s dreams of lifting the league
diadem for the first time,” Obuh was quoted by the club’s
website.

The new welfare officer also commended the club’s
management led by Chief Emeka Inyama for running Abia
Warriors Football Club professionally.
