Cruzeiro are interested in appointing former AC Milan
midfielder Clarence Seedorf as coach, Goal understands.

The Brazilian club are seeking a replacement for former
national team coach Mano Menezes, who has departed to
join Chinese outfit Shandong Luneng.

Goal understands that Thiago Scuro, Cruzeiro's director of
football, has travelled to Milan to speak with the Dutchman,
who most recently managed at San Siro.

Seedorf spent a year-and-a-half at Botafogo prior to his
retirement, winning the Campeonato Carioca in 2013, and
can speak Portuguese.

The 39-year-old decided to hang up his boots in 2014, after
winning two Eredivisie titles, four Champions Leagues, La
Liga and two Serie A titles.
