resurgent Augsburg's fine Bundesliga form as beaten
Schalke missed the chance to go fourth.
Caiuby's superb stoppage-time volley secured a 2-1 Bundesliga
win for in-form Augsburg over Schalke on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was once more in fine form as
Borussia Dortmund saw off Eintracht Frankfurt 4-1 at Signal
Iduna Park, keeping the chase up on leaders Bayern
Munich.
Frankfurt, who have now won on just one of their last 19
visits to Dortmund, had taken an early lead through
Alexander Meier but the visitors’ chances of causing an
upset suffered a huge blow when Slobodan Medojevic was
sent off for a dubious second yellow card on the stroke of
half-time.
