Javier Hernandez has posted a farewell letter to Manchester
United following his move to Bayer Leverkusen... but with
one notable exclusion.
The striker ended a four-year spell at Old Trafford with an
€11 million (£8m) move earlier this week and has thanked
former United manager Sir Alex Ferguson and the club's
chief scout Jim Lawlor before giving a special mention to the
supporters.
However, Louis van Gaal, along with Sir Alex's immediate
successor, David Moyes, were both glaring omissions.
Hernandez played just twice under the Dutchman last
season - being hooked at half-time in the season-opening
2-1 loss to Swansea City before a full run out in the shock
4-0 loss to MK Dons in the League Cup.
The Mexico international was given few opportunities this
term also, with three substitute appearances, which included missing a penalty in the recent 4-0 away win over Club Brugge in the Champions League play-off round.
