Aston Villa have completed the season-long loan signing of London-born Portuguese defender Tiago Ilori from Liverpool.
Ilori joined the Reds on transfer deadline day in 2013 but has yet to play for the Reds at senior level, having embarked on loan spells at Granada and Bordeaux, and made 12 Ligue 1 appearances for the French side in 2014-15.
Villa boss Tim Sherwood has embarked on a major recruitment drive this summer, signing the likes of Jordan Ayew, Rudy Gestede, Idrissa Gueye and Joleon Lescott, and has expressed his delight at acquiring Ilori.
"I am very pleased to bring Tiago into the football club," Sherwood told the club's official website.
"He's someone I have been aware of for some time and I am looking forward to working with him. He's a young guy who I believe will enhance the group here."
