Alex Pritchard has signed a new four-year deal with Tottenham.
The 22-year-old returned to White Hart Lane at the end of the season following a hugely successful spell on loan at Championship side Brentford.
His form earned him a place in Gareth Southgate's England Under-21s squad for the summer's European Championships.
Now back at Spurs, Pritchard has been brought into the first team picture by boss Mauricio Pochettino and is yet to make an appearance this season due to injury but has been building up his fitness with the Under-21s side.
Off the field, Tottenham have been working on a new deal for the midfielder, which was clinched on Friday.
Former Spurs boss Tim Sherwood had made enquiries regarding the possibility of signing Pritchard at Aston Villa but the north Londoners see him as a player with a big future at White Hart Lane.
