Sevilla have confirmed that an agreement has been reached with Bordeaux for the signing of Mariano for an undisclosed fee.
The Brazilian right-back will travel to the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan on Sunday before undergoing a medical the following day and then putting pen to paper on a three-year contract with the Rojiblancos.
"Sevilla FC and Girondins de Bordeaux have reached an agreement for the transfer of Mariano Ferreira," read a statement on the Spanish side's official website.
"Mariano, a fast and attack-minded right-back, will become the club's eight signing of the summer.
"All going well with the medical, he will sign for three seasons, with a buy-out clause of €20 million."
The 29-year-old Mariano, who has never been capped by Brazil, joined Bordeaux from Fluminense in 2012.
