Lyon have no intention of allowing Alexandre Lacazette to leave this summer, according to head coach Hubert Fournier.
An exceptional campaign in 2014-15, which saw him score 31 goals in all competitions, has seen the 24-year-old linked with a big-money move before the new season.
Arsenal and Liverpool are among the clubs reported to be monitoring Lacazette's situation with the Ligue 1 side, but Fournier has made it clear that neither player nor club is interested in a transfer.
"I don't have anything major to tell you. He has already said he would like to stay with us," he said to reporters.
"Clearly clubs are attracted by a player of his quality, but he is contracted to Lyon and, with all the competitions we're in, we obviously want to keep him."
Lyon take on Arsenal in the Emirates Cup on Saturday.
