Arsene Wenger banned ketchup when he arrived at Arsenal. David Moyes barred french fries upon his arrival at Old Trafford.
So what is the newest item that’s been banned by a top-tier coach? Over-sized headphones.
Stuttgart coach Alexander Zorniger has stopped his players from wearing over-sized headphones in public. Why?
Because it might make some players’ heads look comparatively small. Yes, it seems Zorniger is only concerned about his players’ self-esteem and he’s conceded to let the players wear them on the bus.
After Stuttgart were almost relegated last year, maybe this is Zorniger’s way of trying to get some more production out of his team.
