The 22-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at Villarreal after failing to secure a regular first-team place in Arsene Wenger's side.
Campbell joined Arsenal in 2011 but has made only 10 appearances for the club after loan spells at Lorient, Real Betis and Olympiakos, and now Sociedad are keen on the Costa Rica international.
"He is an interesting player for Real, but right now there's no talk of a transfer," Aperribay toldTeledonosti.
"We have to analyse the financial conditions that this transfer would pose."
