Madrid fans record inaugural victory on Star Football Superfans

Real Madrid, the world's biggest club recently concluded what was a disappointing season by their lofty standards. Second in La Liga and eliminated in the semi finals of the UEFA Champions League and Copa Del Rey, Los Blancos reacted by firing coach Carlo Ancelotti for replacement Rafa Benitez.

Flux period notwithstanding, Real Madrid fans do not seem to have been affected by this season's troubles, as this week's Star Football Superfans saw Obidike Benjamin, Olutade Rotimi, Babatunde Abiola, Oyinlusi Rotimi Ezekiel and Filani Olumide Samuel of Glory FC make a winning start to life on the show with a 2-1 victory over True Blues of Chelsea.

This was the case of Obidike Benjamin, Olutade Rotimi, Babatunde Abiola, Oyinlusi Rotimi Ezekiel and Filani Olumide Samuel, Real Madrid fans who featured on this week’s episode of the Star Lager sponsored TV show, Star Football SuperFans.

They were made to work for it by the hard fighting Blues, but eventually the quintet carried the day, winning the N1m star prize. The losing team made up of Olanipekun Oluwaseun Emmanuel, Obanubi Ayoola Olaniyi, Calistus Ngwu, Ayeni Tokunbo Bamidele and Oyelami Taofeek Kola on their part went home with the N100,000 consolation prize.
