The Spain international is loving life at the Champions League holders and wants to stay put for the remainder of his active career
The 26-year-old, who came through the ranks of the club's famed youth academy, returned to Camp Nou in the summer of 2012 after spells with Cornella, Valencia and Gimnastic, and has since developed into a key player.
Alba was an integral part of the squad that won the treble in 2014-15 and he is hungry for more success.
"When I was young, I had to leave, but I finally came back to where I wanted to be.
"I have learned a lot in these three years and we have won several titles.
"You never know what the future has in store, but if possible I’d like to hang up my boots at Barcelona."
The left-back has a contract with Barca until June 2020.
