FIFAU20: TEAM NEWS- No place for Iheanacho against Germany

Kelechi Iheanacho will be missing in the Flying Eagles starting line up for the third time in a row when Nigeria face Germany in Thursday morning’s Fifa U20 World Cup second round game.

The Manchester City starlet who has featured twice in this competition will be hoping for his third U20 cap from the bench as Nigeria hope to secure a place in the quarter final of the competition.

Meanwhile, Godwin Saviour continues to partner Taiwo Awoniyi  up-front, after the latter got a brace in the Flying Eagles 2-0 defeat of Hungary meaning Isaac Success has to wait for his chance from the bench once more.

In midfield, the more defensive Akinjide Idowu keeps his place and Kingsley Sokari on the right-wing, with captain Musa Muhammed getting a starter’s shirt.

Nigeria must beat Germany  to confirm their placein the quarter finals where they face Mali.
