The 19-year-old spent the last 18 months on loan with Vitesse and believes he is ready to take his opportunity when it comes at Stamford Bridge
The Burkina Faso midfielder agreed a deal with the Stamford Bridge club in October 2013, but had not played enough international football to be given a permit.
Traore was sent on loan to Eredivisie side Vitesse, where he made 48 league appearances across one and a half campaigns
The 19-year-old was particularly impressive in 2014-15, netting 14 goals in 33 outings as Vitesse secured Europa League qualification.
Vitesse manager Peter Bosz has previously claimed Joe Mourinho is crazy about the teenager while the player himself feels he is ready for when his oppotunity comes at Stamford Bridge.
"Chelsea are very happy with my development. But I will only hear what is next in the summer," he told De Telegraaf. "I’m ready when the opportunity comes and I'm not afraid to show my ability at Chelsea.
"This has been the first time I have played a full season in professional football. I've taken a huge step forward physically."
