Bertolacci completes Roma return

The Italy international has returned to the Stadio Olimpico after spending the past three seasons at Genoa

Andrea Bertolacci - GenoaRoma have announced on their official website that they have acquired full ownership of Andrea Bertolacci for €8.5 million.
The 24-year-old was previously co-owned by the Stadio Olimpico side and Genoa and spent the past three seasons at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris side.

However, he has now earned himself a return to the Italian capital following his performances with Genoa.

"Roma have reached an agreement with Genoa to resolve the co-ownership of footballer Andrea Andrea Bertolacci in Roma's favour, in exchange for a fee of €8.5m," an official statement reads.

Andrea Bertolacci came through the ranks of the Roma youth academy, but was shipped out on loan to Lecce before breaking into the first team at the Giallorossi.

The Italy international then moved on to Genoa in 2012 as part of the deal that saw Panagiotis Tachtsidis makes his way to Roma and has since developed into a key player at the Luigi Ferraris.
