James: Real Madrid will show no fear against Juventus

The Colombian says his side know how Wednesday's Champions League opponents will set up and is confident the Spanish side will reach the final.

5° - Real Madrid-ESP (Adidas) - 38 milhões de euros por ano - de 2012 a 2020Real Madrid midfielder James Rodriguez has warnedJuventus that his side will show no fear as they look to overturn a 2-1 deficit in their Champions League tie and reach the final.

Alvaro Morata and Carlos Tevez scored to give the Italian side a lead in Turin before Cristiano Ronaldo halved the deficit for a vital away goal for his side before Wednesday's semi-final second leg.

With Madrid looking to become the first side to retain the European crown in the Champions League era, James insists they know how Massimiliano Allegri's men will approach the encounter but Los Blancos are not afraid.

"Madrid fear no one," he told El Pais. "We respect many teams throughout the world, but we do not fear. We know what Italian teams are like. They defend well and we have to know how to address them. You must deal with it. If we play to our best, then we will be in the final.”

Cristiano Ronaldo has scored an incredible 54 goals in 51 games in all competitions this season, but James insists the team must not be overly reliant on him. The Colombian added that he is happy to work hard for the team instead of try and score on his own.

"Ronaldo cannot carry Real Madrid alone," he added.

"I do what the team needs me to do. I participate in all aspects of the game. The reason you work every day with every effort is to try to learn. We are always learning, always.”
