Cristiano Ronaldo’s performance was defined by his match-winning assist for Javier Hernandez last night, but his greatest contribution of the night may have even taken place before kick-0ff.
As he was practicing his free-kicks during the warm-up, Ronaldo accidentally hit a young kid behind the goal, and having realized what had happend, the 2015 Ballon D’Or winner looked visibly upset.
So when the warm-up was done, he ran over to the kid and gave him his training shirt, which undoubtedly made the kid’s day. And/or life.
